Big Brother 2012 Begins
Written by Chris
Yes folks it’s that time again Big Brother is back. Yesterday saw the launch of the second series of Big Brother on Channel 5. There was a total of 16 housemates who entered the house and the first housemate was chosen at random, little did this housemate no, being the first means they have to choose three housemates to put up for eviction this week. This unlucky housemate was Deana and later on that night another twist was revealed. Not only was the nomination live, it was to be done in front of the other housemates. It was quite excruciating to watch quite frankly with unlucky Deana struggling to come up with reasons for some of her choice. Whether it was because she couldn’t think of anything or if she was just afraid of speaking the truth remains a mystery for now.
This year’s housemates
The housemates this year comes in a variety of mixes, from different age, gender, sexual orientation and ethnicity. The ones that stood out the most was Chris, a bouncer with a very high voice. He seems lovely and is rumoured to be a favourite already. Then there is Luke, he reveals at the end of his introduction that he was born female and that he won’t reveal this to the other housemates right away so they can get to know him first. That seems very fair and to be honest who is going to judge really? There are also quite a few glamourous people, there could be a lot of cat fights this year, we shall have to see.
An exciting year
So with this year’s housemates in we can only watch and see what they all bring. I am quite excited and I hope the tasks will be entertaining too. Last year they had some tasks which weren’t too original like the reuse of the shock suits. They were quite funny and entertaining when it was first introduced but now it’s lost some of it’s appeal.
