Leading to the return of The Walking Dead this Sunday, Ad Agency Leo Burnett Toronto have come up with a very creative idea to promote the show. Commuters at Union Station in Toronto would come across a display with a statue of a pair of rotting hands.

It will lose a finger each day counting down until the show returns for the third season part two. Fans of the show can tweet a photo of themselves with the fingers along with the hashtag #TWDFeb10 to enter into a competition to win one of those fallen fingers.

In addition to this there are actors and actresses disguised as zombies walking amongst commuters in the station. It was also reported that T-Shirts were handed out as part of the promotion. It sounds like an excellent advertising idea and from following the competition hashtag it has generated a lot of buzz for the show too.
