The Apprentice Final: Ricky Martin wins the process

Written by Chris
This year’s The Apprentice is now over with Ricky Martin winning £250,000 to be injected into his business and taking Lord Sugar as his business partner. It was so entertaining watching the remaining being butchered by Lord Sugar’s colleagues who help him to assess the finalists and which one to hire. Admittedly Tom was my favourite choice having been quite successful and knowledgable throughout the process so when it came down to him and Ricky it was very nail-biting stuff.
When Ricky was grilled for his personal statement I could not help but laugh so much at the kind of statements he had written. Things like comparing himself to the Norse God, Thor, was hilarious. Jade was the first to go and it certainly didn’t come as a surprise as she seemed weakest out of the four candidates. Nick came third and didn’t do too well with his business plan. Tom is the runner-up and his downfall was his love of taking risks, he took quite a few risks too during some of the tasks.
With that said, I have to say I am looking forward to next year where The Apprentice returns and the next bunch of candidates go through the process.
